| Summer, 1953 |
After several years during which the Spring Valley FFA Chapter won the state-wide Farm Safety Award, the chapter was asked to star in a movie being made for the John Deere corporation. The movie was called "The Safety Pin" and shown at the 1955 John Deere Days events produced by local dealers. It was filmed on a farm near Glencoe, Minnesota. |
